The International Storytelling Center is pleased to welcome Quiet Riot as this weeks Storytelling Live tellers in residence! Quiet Riot’s collection of life experiences has inspired their repertoire. Namely, they have: circled the globe; led rock climbing expeditions; harvested cotton in Israel; commanded USAF satellites; worked on off-shore oil rigs; directed a wilderness school; built a courthouse in Australia; flown airplanes; taught 2nd grade; and studied acting, mime, jazz, modern dance, ballet and motivational psychology, among other things! Performing since 1978, brothers Bill and David Mettler use comedy, storytelling, music and sound effects for their programs which they’ve presented at multiple venues, including the Lincoln Center. “You could have heard a pin drop when the audience was hanging on your every word and gesture, and moments later, the applause was deafening.” – PA Aware Leadership Conference for tickets and reservation Matinee Performances Tuesday, May 20 • 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 • 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22 • 2 p.m. Friday, May 23 • 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24 • 2 For tickets or more information, call (800) 952-8392 or (423) 913-1276.
