The Iranian minister said that Iran went to negotiate on nuclear program not because of the sanctions. Moscow. February 2. The Iranian leadership is actively seeking a solution to the nuclear issue with the international community , as it would like people , not because of existing sanctions against Tehran , said Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif . We took this step not because of sanctions. New sanctions only encouraged us to create new centrifuges ( uranium enrichment ), - he said , speaking at a security conference in Munich . The Minister explained that in Tehran were in favor of intensifying the dialogue on the nuclear issue after the election of President Hassan Rouhani . He was in favor of moderation and constructive cooperation with the international community - added Dzh.Zarif . According to him, the only result of international sanctions - the fact that the people of Iran have less trust many members of the international community. Especially this distrust for the U.S. - said Dzh.Zarif . Speaking after the Iranian minister American Democratic Senator Christopher Murphy did not agree with his statements about the role of international sanctions. I believe that President Rouhani was elected just because the Iranians understand how serious the damage they inflict sanctions , - he said. Senator added that he believes in the possibility of reaching a final agreement on the nuclear issue between Iran and the six of international mediators.
