The Islamic State is not Islamic according to Obama because no religion condones the killing of innocents, and the vast majority of victims have been Muslim. Wonderful. Im glad weve now got this blueprint to determine when religion goes to far versus when its not the fault of religion at all. So we can say the Crusades were never Christian. The Inquisition and the burning of witches was never a Christian problem. The religious wars of late-medieval Europe were never really religious wars, since the vast majority of people killed by Christians were Christians. If you can point to passages in a book telling you to kill innocent people and the like, then there IS a problem with the book and not just with your interpretation of it.
