The Isle of Wight Council are seeking to appoint an experienced Benefit Officer to administer our Local Assistance Scheme and join our high performing Revenues & Benefits team at the Isle of Wight Council Offices, Sandown. You will be required to verify and process information promptly relating to claims for Local Assistance Scheme emergency support and also Housing & Council Tax benefits, benefit reviews, changes in circumstances, over payments, and deal with customer enquiries.
