The Israeli/Palestinian situation is a bleeding knot. The more it squeezes the mor it bleeds. It is so important to get to understand each others dramas in the past, with an honest look. Sometimes it is difficult to believe the other is human. But it is. We have to understand how miserable we can become under certain circumstances. Watch documentaries about al Nakba, watch documentaries about the Holocaust, read, read, read, away from propaganda. Read Morris, read Hillel Cohen, Jo Roberts, Ed Zaid. And read Darwish... Just for the sake of good literature! :)
