The JV football team came up short last night to Jay County 6-0. They played hard and competed. It was a very tight game from start to finish. Jay had about two plays that allowed them to score. Our guys moved the ball, but just couldnt get that one big play to score. They will get there because they showed the little things which are playing hard, never giving up, and playing as a team. Yesterday the varsity had practice missing the JV guys. That is always tough on a Tuesday which is a big practice day during game week. We had 23 guys which is just enough to scrimmage. We worked on reading our keys and reacting to them against the Eastbrook offense. They made progress now we need to get sharper and more consistent tonight. Offensively we continue to work on our consistency in execution. We have some good plays, but then have a break down physically or mentally. Today will be another big practice day. The last physical day until game time Friday! GO BRUINS!
