The Jeanie and the Lamp...we know the story, Aladdin finds the lamp..releases the Jeanie and is granted three wishes. POOF! Has God ever done that? Well, yes he has in a way. In a dream God appeared to Solomon and asked to him, What should I give you? In other words what do you want? What would say...What would most people say. Money, power, fortune, fame, health, ..etc. The choice has great ramifications and they are many. But Solomon asked this..Give me wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this great people of yours. God saw that possessions, wealth, fame and fortune were not in his heart and that the love and leadership his father David had was. He desired to follow God. God blessed him with all that and MORE. 2nd Chronicles Ch. 1. Again...what would you ask for? Where is your hearts focus? What are your desires in life?
