The Jesus I hear from contemporary pulpits (well, not all) and the Christian values the politicos bandy about....this is not the Jesus I was taught as a child...and has caused many of my true believer friends to very reluctantly leave their Church home. I know, other religions employ the same tactics but is THAT what Jesus taught US...Are we soldiers or soldiers of Christ?? Reflect on your beliefs, reflect on Jesus teaching ..we need more reflection and less reaction. Were dwell on vengeance, retribution blame shame...are WE without these things? I think not....maybe clean our house before we gossip and judge others] I wish all of my circle a peaceful and abundant New Year!
