The Jingle Bell Run, a free 5K fun run/walk, takes place Dec. 12 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Iron Horse Sports and Fitness Center. Festive attire is encouraged. Co-sponsored by Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Balfour Beatty Communities, the event is open to the entire community. Bells will be available for runners on a first-come, first-served basis. Free T-shirts for the first 300 winners. Strollers and pets are welcome. Prizes are given to the 12th and 25th runners across the finish line. Call 526-3944 for more information.
