The Jodi Arias defense team, as Edd intimated, is trying to get the penalty phase moved to January 2014, according to KTAR of Arizona. The motion said the trial should be postponed so the defense could paint a better picture for the jury before they decide if she lives or dies. The defense wants time to bring in witnesses that could testify for Arias, as one key witness, Patricia Womack, refused to testify after being threatened.
