The Jordan District Board of Education and Jordan Education Association have reached a financial agreement for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 school years. This agreement includes steps and lanes for both years along with a 2% bonus for employees on step 15 for both years. Any insurance premium increases will be equally shared between the District and employees. In addition to steps, lanes, and the bonus, any unencumbered money added to the Weighted Pupil Unit (WPU) will also be equally shared between the District and the employee salary schedule in the form of a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA). Recognizing employee dedication and loyalty, the Board of Education and JEA are pleased that employee compensation is included over other budget priorities as the 2014-15 budget is finalized.
