The Joshua Shift of 2015 and Our Northern Conquest I want to encourage each of us as we close out 2014 that there is a not only a concluding of one season to another but right now for you and I there is a shifting of Gods GRACE that is taking place but before we can conclude there is a conquest. I am reminded of Joshuas Northern Conquest that took place at Lake Merom. This is known as the battle of the 5 Kings. Right now we have 5 days left in this year and 5 is the number of GRACE. I dont have time here but can tell you the five areas Joshua defeated in the Northern Conquest at Lake Merom (meaning Height and its waters were Sweet and Clear) they all have meaning of hindrance or anti-grace in other words they were the strongmen and opponents of Gods Shift of Grace for Joshua that day. Today, we are in a shift of Gods Grace and worthy of note is the fact that this Northern Conquest was Joshuas last great battle before fully inhabiting the promise land. The KEY here is Joshuas strategy! Josh spoke before all of Israel and COMMANDED the sun to stand still over Gibeon and the moon to stand still over Aijalon. Right now God is driving out the anti-grace and opponents to our promise land we are in our Northern Conquest spiritually speaking and like Joshua we need to command the sun and moon (spiritually speaking) to stand still that nothing remain hidden during this Northern Conquest of our Shift of Grace so that All of our Enemies be DRIVEN OUT!!! Very briefly in conclusion, how did Joshua command the sun and moon to stand still. 1. Point: Joshua spoke before ALL of Israel. Now Israel not only means May God Prevail but Israel also takes on this meaning when God personalizes the name about you and I, it means, Gods Vicarious Governor WOW! Now Vicarious means: experienced in the imagination through the feelings or actions of another person. So literally this means Joshua so governed his mind, will, and emotions to be that of the Most High God that he became an Experience Governor in the IMAGINATIONS of the WORD, WILL, and WAY of the Most High and from this not only aligned himself with Gods will but so took on the identity of Gods will to prevail that as Joshua spoke as Governor of Gods imaginations even the sun and moon obeyed. This is what it means to be a manifest son/daughter of the Most High, to be an Experience Governor in the IMAGINATIONS of the WORD, WILL, and WAY of the Most High. 2. Point: Joshua was specific where the sun and moon were to stand. The sun over Gibeon. Gibeon means Hill City it was where the strongmen dwelt. Notice that upon victory the meaning of this place took on a new definition which meant Priest Hill and eventually became the place where King Solomon built his temple and it is also the place where King Solomon received the very Wisdom of God The moon over Aijalon: Aijalon has several meanings but they all add up to: the things that are not of or from God. Psalms 148:3 says, the sun and moon were made to praise the Lord The Sun represents as a type Jesus Christ who is our greatest Light. Now Joshua commanded the sun to stand still over Gibeon that the enemy be fully driven out. 2 Chronicles 20:15 says, He said: Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but Gods. And Rev. 19:11 says, And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Joshua understood that when Righteous Judgement is established that the Battle is the Lords and that Jesus Makes War on our behalf Finally, the Moon speaks of reflection and you can see that Joshua commanded the reflection of God to stand still over Aijalon that it may drive out anything not of God and have a perfect reflection of the Most High. So to summarize Joshua defeated his Northern Conquest and came into his promise land through his Shift of Grace by becoming Gods Vicarious Governor and ALIGNING with the Light, Life, and Love of God that the inhabitants of his Gibeon be driven out and that his Aijalon no longer stand in its own strength and wisdom but be a perfect REFLECTION of Gods There is so much more that can be said here but this is the strategy Joshua used in his Northern and Final Conquest to his promise land and I believe it is ours for this coming shift through 2015. I hope you will join me when I say, As for me and my house in serving the Most High God we will ALIGN our lives and words with the will and light and justice of God that our Gibeons are no longer high hills over run with the enemy but are become Priest Hills filled with the praise, wisdom, and worship of God. Also that our Aijalons are so soaked in reflection (the presence of God) of God that every nature, object, and aspect that does not perfectly reflect God is driven out and replaced with the presence of the Person of God.
