The Judiciary is now to have financial autonomy as provided for in the constitution but had over the years been suppressed by both the Executive and Legislative arms of government. Thank God it is happening now, a point for GEJ I must say. Next I expect is to separate the office of Attorney General from that of the Minister of Justice. And the President should also be stripped of power to appoint the Attorney-General of the Federation.
