The June 27th lava flow from Kīlauea Volcano, Hawai`i remains active, and is slowly approaching Pāhoa Village Road as it moves through private property. As of 4:15 pm yesterday, the flow was about 185 m (202 yd) in a straight-line distance from Pāhoa Village Road and about 775 meters (850 yd) in a straight-line distance from Highway 130. HVO scientists continue to monitor the flow and the most recent update and photos are available on the HVO website. hvo.wr.usgs.gov/ This video was recorded Wednesday morning.
