The K9 Unit in KZN arrested 3 suspects for possession of suspicious stolen property. Police received the information that there was a bakkie that was seen loaded with computers around the taxi rank area. Police proceeded to the taxi rank and a red bakkie was identified and suspects tried to escape, but police apprehended them. Twenty computers valued at about R100 000.00 inside waste black plastic bags in the vehicle. They were allegedly stolen at Dannhauser near KwaMdakane area. The suspects aged between 20 and 35 have been detained in Newcastle Police cells for possession of suspicious stolen property. Police also arrested a 27-year-old suspect in the early hours in the morning for possession of electric cords that belongs to the same computers. All suspects are expected to appear in the Dannhouser Magistrates’ Court today.
