The KTC AGM was held last night (7th of August), and once again the club remains in a position of strength and looking to the year ahead with excitement and optimism. It is with a hint of sadness, but an overwhelming sense of gratitude we say a final thank you to John Raymond for another year of his presidency. John opted not to stand for re-election this year after serving the club for 7 years. We also need to acknowledge the unheralded, behind the scenes support of Emma, Johns wife, and to their three boys who have pitched in every time the club has needed volunteers. John hands the club over in amazing shape to Ray Joy as the new President of KTC. As a club, we are incredibly fortunate to have another outstanding member step into this role, and look forward to building on this strong foundation with many of the previous committee members returning. We also say a big ‘thanks’ to outgoing member Meagan Edwards for her years of service to the committee which still hasn’t stopped as she focuses on some final social jobs, as well as Scott Gillan for the countless hours he dedicated to the benefit of his club too.
