The Kabarnet Hotel, In its hey days, this facility was a landmark not only in Kabarnet town but in the entire Baringo County. It has since been run down and what we have now is a pale shadow of it. I fully support the intention of the Baringo County Government to acquire this facility during the FY 2014/2015. We hope it will then be given the facelift it so much requires and return it back to its glorious past. Of course this will boost tourism and also reduce the county expenditure related to seminars and conferences, Moreover, we should be able to market it as a conference destination to other counties. It is a goldmine that has been left to lie idle for far too long. Thanks to HE the governor and his team for this noble idea.
