The Keep Juba clean and green campaign kicked off today and will continue for the next month. This initiative is hoped to prevent recurrent disease outbreaks related to poor water and sanitation such as the current #Cholera outbreak. UNICEF has supported this initiative by providing protective gear, tools, garbage bags, renting garbage tracks and funding to conduct community meetings and developing of communication materials including posters, banners and radio messages on keeping our communities clean. Let’s join hands together to keep Juba clean by stopping open defecation, properly disposing domestic waste, plastic bottles, plastic bags and other trash at designated points. Protect our water sources safe for a healthier community.
