The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to restrict northbound traffic to one lane on the Breathitt-Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County starting TODAY. The northbound lane restriction on the Pennyrile between the 7 and 8 mile marker is for the repair of a slide along the right of way. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow. A crew will be working in this area between approximately 7:00 a.m., CDT, and 3:30 p.m., weekdays, whenever weather allows for the next several weeks.
