The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on the Interstate 24 Tennessee River Bridge at the Livingston-Marshall County Line on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. This lane restriction at I-24 mile point 29.242 is to allow an electrical crew to replace the aviation beacon atop the bridge superstructure. This lane restriction is expected to be in place for both eastbound and westbound traffic from approximately 1:30 p.m., CST, to approximately 3:30 p.m. Motorists traveling I -24 should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone on the Tennessee River Bridge. Appropriate caution is required where equipment and personnel are working along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
