The Kentucky school report card released this week ranked Lone Oak Middle School 23rd in all of Kentucky for Middle Schools. I can believe it. They have an awesome music program (they even have fiddles) and really great teachers. My daughters actually like attending school and love almost every teacher they have. (Try to get any 13 year old happy about something its not easy) They communicate extremely well and every morning in the car line teachers and even the Principle wave and smile when I drop off my kiddos. Im not posting this because I have family or friends that work at the school. I dont know anyone who works there. We have moved around a few times and from my own personal experience this is the best public school in our region. It takes a lot of good people working together to provide a safe caring environment for our kids and Im fortunate our family calls it home.
