The Killer Whales season came to an end on Saturday afternoon and - TopicsExpress

The Killer Whales season came to an end on Saturday afternoon and it was a disappointing end for all the players. Iluka took out the match 28-15 but really won the game in the first half. Leading 21-5 at half time Iluka only had to come out and defend well in the second period and they did. The killer Whales through everything at them but they had left their run too late and really paid the price for not playing well in the first half. Whilst the boys were disappointed by the result, it was a great turn around from last season where they won the wooden spoon. It is something to build on for next season and the boys hope they will be able to keep the team pretty similar for the 2014 season. First National would like to congratulate Evans River Rugby on a great season for both the juniors and the seniors and we hope your success continues next year. The Killer Whales would also like to remind everyone that new players are welcome for next season for both the Seniors and Juniors. I will post more information about next season later on. Thanks to everyone that stayed in touch with all the news.
