The Kindness Challenge~~~ Well, today I think I will be spending some money in downtown. I think on my way through Starbucks, I will be buying some giftcards. That should take care of a bunch of Kindness needs. One issue I have about donating to "homeless folks" is that I really do not want to participate in the unkindness that usually results in the abuse of substance. However, I certainly see needs for food and heat or cool even with people in their depth of illness. I can buy them some smokes, some food or some coffee cards. I wish I could buy some heavy duty cleaner tokens for some of them who really are out in the bush at night. Anyway, this should work for a bunch of my kindness challenges I am so far behind on today. Twenty is a bit steep of a goal, but it has focused me on things I already do that are kind. Which, is a kindness to myself, actually.
