The King Family is proud of those who have served, do serve, and are yet to serve their country in the defense of life, liberty and the pursuit of true and lasting happiness. Amongst all those close to us who are and have served we are proud to highlight a couple today: My Brother-in-Law, a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army, and ,pictured with my son, LeRoy Petersohn, a medic in the 11th Armored Division who saved a three-week old babys life at the Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria in May 1943. It was nearly 60 years later that that baby, now a grown woman, Hana Berger Moran, found and caught up with Pete in 2003. Brian interviewed Pete for his WWII Report in 7th Grade. Pete passed away the following year, 2011.
