The King and The Kingdom Written by Allen Hooten It is my responsibility to create the place within me where Holy Spirit will come, rest and remain. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer however, does not rest upon every believer. The Holy Spirit is easily grieved and its my privledge, honnor and pleasure of offering Him a home, a resting place that He might come and remain. The renewed mind is an essential requirment in this process. Its here I learn how to walk with the King as we work in unison, together revealing, presenting the very essence and fragrance of the Kingdom of God. Together we unite as one revealing the very nature of the FATHER here on earth. My will aligning with His will creates the doorway for the Kingdom of God to be realized and made manifest within the earth. This all starts internally, I must see as heaven sees, I must do as heaven does and I must have the same compassion and values of His Kingdom. Its here within me that I partner with God to fight and defeat this sin nature. Its here within me I discover the victories from my internal battles creates this place for Him to rest and remain. Its these internal victories that create the atmosphere within me for His Spirit to rest, remain and increase. Its here I discover that my internal victories begin to shape, contribute and mold my external reality. Its these internal victories that creates the empty canvas for the Holy Spirit to preform the miraculous. Its these internal victories that allow Him the freedom to create, renew and restore what was once broken, into a majestic master piece. This is how I learn how to Host His Presence. As Peter walked down the road people would move the sick to a place where his shadow would fall and they would be healed. His shadow did nothing, it was his ability to live a life that the Holy Spirit could rest and remain upon. It was the invisible Kingdom resting upon Him that cured the sick. Now, through my life every person in front of me has the opportunity to encounter the King and His Kingdom. Its within me He creates a Kingdom Culture. I now live a life that advances towards what this would labels as impossiabilites viewing them merely as an opportunity to advance His Kingdom within the earth. A culture of honor, a culture that sees and values everyone just as Christ does. Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:7-8 (NKJV) 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6 (NKJV) Did Peter say a prayer for this man or did he give him something he already possessed? Did Jesus tell the disciples to pray for the sick or heal the sick? Did Jesus tell the disciples to only teach certian things or all things He commanded them? There was never meant to be a gap between what Jesus taught the Disciples and what we do today.
