The Kingdom of God is within you - Jesus (Luke 17:21) Have you ever considered the bible as a bunch of metaphors and that Jesus was of a higher consciousness and trying to teach us to strive to get there as well? Check out: Edger Cayce, love his theories and speculations. In essence, I believe that we should graduate from the schools of religion into a higher understanding. That is what great spiritual teachers like The Christ and The Buddha embodied and tried to teach. A man once asked the Buddha, what are you and he said, I am awake. I do not care what religion you have, or if you even have a religion as long as it makes you become...THE BEST PERSON... you can be!! ~talked to a wall today ~banging my head to the beat ~of a billion moths lost in the darkness ~how can you use logic to define love ~math doesnt have the equation to explain it ~the only way i can describe it is you have to live it ~and give it away freely to keep it ~it lives inside me not outside somewhere ~waiting to be discovered in someone else ~its right here and right now ~a gift to give freely ~with no strings attached ~its not about being needy or greedy ~expecting someone to fill up your hole ~wont make you a whole person ~that balance comes from within ~it cant be bought or sold ~its sometimes as simple as providing a hand to hold or heart to embrace ~or shoulder to cry on ~or a great big bear hug ~or a glance or a look ~or a simple hello ~being there for someone is its own reward ~who am i to say where it is i must go ~all of my life i have traveled this path ~sometimes in torment and pain ~again and again i picked up the chains ~and carried this weight of misconception ~when i gave up thinking i knew all the answers ~and stopped demanding that others had to dance to my tune ~it was like a great sunny day dawned deep in my soul ~and suddenly like a warm summer breeze i am set free ~i believe we were all born to love unconditionally ~love is pure love is free like an ocean ~all i had to do was learn how to swim Wherever you find Peace, whether in a Temple, a Church, a Gathering, in Nature, Walking, Sitting by the Ocean, with People, or Alone, if you are affiliated with religion or a spiritual organization, WHATEVER, it maybe...it makes no difference to me. And...whether you believe or dont, we all find a way to worship LOVE AND PEACE. One of my favorite quotes...If your only prayer is to say Thank You, that would be enough ~unknown~ So,...
