The tour starts in what was a kumara storage shed, today it is full of memorabilia collected by Ernie over the years from the regions past. Here Ernie tells stories of the farming history of the Kumara and also the Kauri Coast Ernie then takes you for a drive around his extensive kumara farm on his tractor powered train with carriages that have been fashioned from oil drums painted with matching colours of his kumara crops. On the tour you pass local collections of his memorabilia and some of his unique creations and you visit New Zealand’s smallest church.
