The LAST one! I cried all the way through and Im still in tears! It is difficult for me as I approach the first anniversary of the loss of one of my very best friends. Kessler was faithful and true to the very last beat of his heart. When it was time, he came to tell me. I lay down with him, held him, and I talked to him for a half hour...and then he was gone. Kess is the first and only pet that has died at home. It was right for him. Its never easy to euthanize a beloved pet, but there are times we must, and when those times come...we must also be faithful and true to our animals and stay with them until the very last beat of their heart.
