The LIFE of a crafter.....some of my favorite sayings from today..... Now some of you might not find this funny...BUT all of you crafters out there might get a chuckle. We usually will hear or run into these things at every craft show and MOST people are very complimentary and enjoy coming to our booth....We probably had over 5,000 people walk by our booth today if not more....so here is some things we always get a chuckle out of........ This is what was heard at my booth today 5. click, click, click, click....this is the people who come by with their phones or cameras and take pictures of it all....I asked one lady (very politely...) if she would like for me to hold the sign up better so she could get a better view....she had a dirty look for me and then walked off! 4. Two ladies walking by...Oh those signs are cute. the other lady,,,,Oh anything you see in here my sister in law can make. I politely (well maybe not really) Yes that seems to be the going trend around here there are a lot of crafty people walking around today. 3. A lady and what appeared to be her granddaughter walking by Oh look at those Granddaugther..Oh Aunt Debbie is making this stuff and her things are REALLY CUTE. I didnt say anything...lol I am thinking hmmmm....is my stuff not?....lol 2. Oh I just bought that sign....I paid $10 cheaper I politely ( and it really was.) Oh really? Was it hand painted? She looked at me and said, No it was on a cabinet door with vinyl ME Oh thats why you paid $25 for stickers....at this point my mom hit my leg...I kept a smile on my face though! 1. AND THE NUMBER ONE THING THAT ALL CRAFTERS LOVE TO HEAR AND I HEARD AT LEAST 101 TIMES, Oh I can make that. lol Good Times at a craft show! I love to see people look at pieces that I hand make and really think about where it would fit into their home. I love seeing all of the customers leave with a smile on their face...even the men chuckle and point to certain signs or come in to the booth to get a sign for the cabin or for their wives....I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!!!
