The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1) The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my fathers God, and I will exalt him. (Exodus 15:2) The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. (Psalm 28:8) Why should I fear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me-- (Psalm 49:5) For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. (Psalm 48:14) You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. (Psalm 18:28) Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4) My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. (Psalm 62:7) Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end. (Isaiah 60:20) I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. (Habakkuk 3:18)
