The Lady Lightning 14U drop Outlaws 11-7 behind Moriah Whites early ground out Five first-inning runs helped the Lady Lightning 14U to an 11-7 win over Outlaws on Saturday. The Lady Lightning 14U scored in the first on a groundout by Moriah White, a two-run double by Brianna Pirri, an RBI double by Lily Statis, and an RBI triple by Jordan Hough. Talia Patterson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lady Lightning 14U. She singled in the first inning and tripled in the fourth inning. The Lady Lightning 14U tacked on another three runs in the second. Gracie Saunders kicked things off with a single, plating Ally Burns. That was followed up by Moriahs single, scoring Anne Marie Mullis and Lacy Cagle. Six Outlaws runs crossed the plate in the bottom half of the fourth, making the score 11-7. A three-run double by #55, a groundout by #9, a steal of home by #2, and a wild pitch gave Outlaws life. The game went final when #88.
