The Language of Faith Jesus said pray this way… Matthew 6:10 - TopicsExpress

The Language of Faith Jesus said pray this way… Matthew 6:10 “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Deuteronomy 11:21 says, “as the days of heaven upon the earth.” Heaven only operates in present tense while the earth has different time zones (past, present, future). For us to access what God has already provided for us we can only do it by faith. And faith has only one tense. NOW! Faith is always NOW. Faith superimposes eternity over time, the invisible over the seen. God told Abram Genesis 17:5 “thy name shall be called Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee”. The word “Abraham” means “Father of a great multitude.” This is after Abraham had passed the age of childbearing. The Lord also changed his wife’s name, who had never been able to bear children, from Sarai to Sarah, which means “Mother or princess of nations.” Notice, He got them to “call things that be not as though they were” to get what God had promised. They had to come in line with Heaven’s time zone where it was already done. Their confession of what God said also developed faith in what was already finished in Heaven. Faith reaches into the invisible realm of the eternal, accesses what God has promised, and brings it into this three-dimensional world. God has seen your future and provided. The Apostle Paul writes… Philippians 4:19; NKJV “And my God shall supply all your need” What you have to say is, “Thank God! I believe that all my needs are met.” That becomes a confession of faith and the power of God is activated on your behalf. Now here is a Warning: For faith to work – don’t put your confession in the future, “God is going to do so and so.” No! Remember, it’s already done! Agree with Heaven’s time zone. If you don’t know and cannot speak the language of faith, “calling things that be not as though they were,” you are not going to be able to function in the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God involves a new order of “living by faith.” Many of God’s children have been only using faith like a spare tire. They never think about it until one of them goes flat. Then they go to the trunk and get the spare. But faith is something we should be riding on all the time — 24/7.
