The Last Of Us Is Becoming A Movie With Help From Naughty Dog Rumors have been swirling around about a possible Last Of Us movie, and now they have become a reality. Naughty Dog has teamed up with Screen Gems to bring its award-winning adventure game to a theater near you! While not much is known about the project at this time, we can confirm that the film is a live-action adaptation, and will be pieced together by a hogepodge of gaming and cinematic figureheads to capture and extend the best parts of the original experience. Naughty Dogs creative director for the game will be responsible for writing the script, while studio heads Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra will be in charge of management alsongside Sam Rami of Ghost House Pictures. So far both sides of the equation seem pretty excited about the prospects that this film might offfer its fans. Clint Culpepper of Ghost House says hes thrilled that SCEA’s Riley Russell was able to get me in front of Neil and Evan Wells to plead my case. Sam and his team at Ghost House round out the perfect team to help realize Neil’s vision.” Wells on the other hand, suggests that the partnership is a perfect fit for a movie that the games developers had long been itching to shoot.
