The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce presents the 31st Annual Christmas in the Country. This popular Christmas shopping opportunity is the kick-off to Lawrence Countys Christmas season. Times for the event are Saturday 9a-5p; Sunday 1-4p; Admission Saturday and Sunday is $3.00, children eight and under free. There will be a Special Showing Friday night, 6-9p, admission is $5.00 Friday night only. Children eight and under free. There will be over 100 booths with items such as antiques, baskets, canned goods, Christmas breads and candies, Christmas decorations, Christmas toys, crafts, doll clothes, dolls, folk art, fried pies, gifts, handmade crafts, jams, jellies, quilts, stitchery and lots more. The holidays are a busy time for ole St Nick but he is dropping by Christmas in the Country Saturday from 10a-2p and Sunday from 1-3p. So come visit SANTA CLAUS and tell him your holiday wishes. It will be a great photo op for the children! We are also going to have a special visit from WSMV Nashville Channel 4s Snowbird Sunday from 1 until 4p. So bring your camera and have your photo taken with Snowbird himself!! Several door prizes will be given away throughout the weekend. The concession stand will be open and there is a eat-in area.
