The Leaf Saga The universe shone bright with the thunder and lightning of war. The Dragon advancing upon his armada, Anakan lifted his gaze from Zeus, leaped into The Heavens, and with a stroke of his sword slew the beast. Having obliterated space and time in the shape of a great predator, he made a pact with Universal Mind to never abandon the form of the beast, but to keep it alive in his memory, as captured theme. This was his promise to Universal Mind. Then he created a world called Leaf, his soldiers, men and women, took the name Leafmen, or People of the Leaf, of which there were four divisions : Shadow, Lucid, Blade, and the first of the Leafmen, Les Fleurs. And Anakan became a god. Let us look back at how the Great War between the first of the Leafmen, Les Fleurs, And the great Dragon began, Where it led, and what came after. We know how it ended. It remains for us to elaborate its happening: A story of magic, blood and fire. In the beginning There was a planet called Zeus Upon which mortals lived. And one of these mortals Was called Anakan Anakan was a great warrior But philosopher and poet also Above all else He was a strong individual And often was found in debate with the gods. The gods were multiple, male and female And all, mortals and gods alike, paid homage to Universal Mind. And it was the habit of Anakan To drink of the draught of the gods So as better to grasp their languages As a warrior, Anakan fought his enemies Without mercy, And was blessed in his campaigns By the energy of Universal Mind. Then came a day When a great Dragon Attacked Zeus And attempted to lay waste to it And Anakan Fought the Dragon as best he could. And he called to the gods for assistance And, using ancient magic, They provided him with a great fleet Of ships, And an army whose soldiers were called Les Fleurs. And the fleet of ships spread itself across the heavens And prepared to do battle with The great Dragon And they arrived at the edge of a fathomless abyss Hidden in heaven’s fold And Anakan and his warriors saw Many thousands of dragons And Les Fleurs shot their laser beams at the enemy And the dragons issued forth And Anakan lost many men and ships. And the great Dragon, waiting, Floated in the abyss And seeing the dire straits Of his armada Anakan drew a sword that the gods Had given him And he descended into the abyss to do Battle with the great Dragon And after a terrible struggle, With a mighty stroke of his sword, And with a terrible energy, Anakan cut through the formidable armour of the great Dragon And killed him. And so the Dragon became a captured theme. And with the help of the gods, Anakan created a planet Which he called Leaf. And he was called god. And he swore to Universal Mind To protect and serve the People of the Leaf. Anakan then built a formidable army, made up of four divisions: Les Fleurs, Lucid, Blade and Shadow And they were called Leafmen And all lived in harmony with Nature, Which was called Willow Then, one day, while walking beneath a great tree The other gods called upon Anakan And warned him of the great danger That lay in store for Leaf They warned of the complete desolation Of the planet if the forces arrayed against it Were not unmasked and destroyed. And so began the battle for Leaf. A battle that defied space and time That was both form and formlessness Whose subtlety Confused all but the gods and the Leafmen, and their enemies The gods had fought with Anakan because He was a great warrior, and they loved him. But they had not the time To commit to Leaf, having their own problems And so Anakan found himself An individual again, a solitary god With his people, the People of the Leaf, Whom he had sworn to Universal Mind to protect. And the Leafmen prepared for war. And they spoke through flowers Hid poems in the sun Conquered 2-dimensional space And launched sunbursts into the sea
