The Left is divided and weak, we used to have strong representation from the shop floor via our unions to political representation by the Labour party. The Right I.e. big business, the Tories, the general media, the police, special branch, mi5, mi6 etc, are winning the war of ideas, of economics, of politics. The Left, which is the ordinary voter for the most part, can only beat these dark forces by uniting as one solid front. How do we do this? We have to reclaim the moral high ground and build from the grassroots upwards and reclaim our institutions. We need to organise trade unions in every workplace to give worker protection but to also create worker political awareness. Then, we need to elect proper working class politicians to represent us and that includes the creation of a new working class political party as this is the only way to rid ourselves of the careerists that have infiltrated the Labour Party. And last but not least, we need to vote with our money I.e. we need to stop buying and fuelling these right wing rags and start supporting any paper that speaks for us!
