“The Legacy” As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, - TopicsExpress

“The Legacy” As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. 2 Corinthians 6:10 The legacy of those who follow the Lord Jesus Christ as ministers of God is indeed puzzling to most people. Because most people don’t understand the joy, peace, love, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness goodness and self-control the people of God demonstrate in difficult situations and circumstances. The Apostle Paul explains it all in 2 Corinthians, Chapter 6. It is because God’s love for us never fails. The gifts He has given us, to give others out of own poverty, God causes to abound to us even more. This is counterintuitive. But, what is puzzling to those who do not know the lord Jesus is abundantly clear to those who do know Him. They realize that my source is not my own. All I have, all I am, and will ever be belongs to God and His grace is sufficient for all my needs. He is my Shepherd. I shall not want, because He loves me. Almighty God, my Father, I thank and praise You for Your unfailing, faithful, and continuing love that makes me complete in all things. I love You with my whole heart, soul, mind and strength and pray that You empower me to help others. In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name I pray and give thanks. Amen!
