The Legacy band is at BOA in San Antonio today. About to take the field. Made Nic go to bed early, he and Rico had breakfast at Our Place this morning, send him off with a good lunch, lots of snacks for him and his section, been sending good thoughts his way. Then I come around the corner and Im telling the girls Nic is about to start playing and, and THERE IS HIS TROMBONE!! Oh Lordy, hallelujah! What??! There is no way I can fix this! I panicked, got the shakes, got tears!! Anger, fear, then this overwhelming feeling that I needed to protect that baby from the band masses!! Rico comes running, the girls are speechless. And then its explained, Nics is broke, it happened yesterday, he had to borrow one for the day...I gotta lay down. I gotta think positive thoughts. This band gig thing is gonna make me develop Tourette Syndrome!
