The Lewis County Sheriffs Office today, along with detectives from FADE Drug Task Force arrested 46-year-old Anthony Hardymon after conducting a controlled buy of several prescription pills, according to Sheriff Johnny Bivens. As a result of the arrest, officers seized additional evidence consisting of 78 1/2 methadone tablets, 33 oxycodone 30mg tablets and approximately $800.00 in cash, Bivens said. Hardymon was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hardymon was arrested at his residence on KY 344. He was lodged in the Lewis County Detention Center.
