The Lobster Roll Relay ride organized by Velo Cape Breton (VCB) follows winding Atlantic Ocean shoreline roads offering breathtaking landscapes, small lobster fishing communities, former coal mining towns and wind farms. The ride features four distance options, from a family-friendly 20 kilometres (Leg #2 New Waterford to Glace Bay) to a metric century, all four legs from Mira Road Fire Department that challenged over 75 participants in 2012. New this year is registration before the start on site at Mira Road Fire Dept, New Waterford Fire Dept, Glace Bay DAM Fitness, Mira Gut. Also, as a bonus this year, there will be a fresh lobster roll for every participant arriving by bicycle at the end of Leg #2 in Glace Bay.
