The Long Lasting God-ordained Testimony {Concluding Part} Celebrating The Faithfulness Of God . God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Num. 23:19. Has it ever occurred to you that God wouldn’t say what He will not do; and He wouldn’t do what He had not said: Hear what the Lord God Himself said. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:8-13. Does this make sense to you? Can you hear your Maker- the Omnipotent, Omniscience and Omnipresence God speak to you? Our natural mind, most of the time, overwhelm us and becloud our mind and heart so much that we give up over an issue that God had concluded even before the foundation of the world. Has He spoken and promised you anything before? Are you sure you hear Him at all? Hold on to your faith in Him. Faithful is He who has promised, He will do what He says He will do. As you are waiting, call to mind that, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Eccl. 3:1. If truly God has a purpose for you, then there is a time. Wait for it. If assuredly He has something for you, wait for the season. Often than non,. God does not work by age, natural ability or disability; He works by time. Praise God. I can see God paying you a visit as He did to Abraham and Sarah. I can hear Him leave a word behind as He was leaving this morning saying, “ … I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.” What is your own “son” you are expecting from God- fruit of the womb, healing, admission, employment, promotion, establishment in your business, peace at home and in your mind, restoration of lost glory and blessing? Name it, your set time, time of life is at hand. Your TESTIMONY is at hand. Do not go back from the Lord. Do not throw in the towel. Soon, people will greet you with a resounding congratulation. Pray this morning, praising God for remembering you. Ask Him for the grace to wait and receive your testimony.
