The Lord Weighs Our Spirits! Proverbs 16:3 “Commit thy works unto the Lord, And thy thoughts shall be established…” You’ve heard the saying that the Lord knows what’s in our hearts, so it would be wise to consider this thought before your day even starts! In Proverbs 16:4 we read, “The Lord hath made all things for Himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” We who fear the Lord and respect Him know that He will repel our enemies so that they will not have a place to dwell! A good heart devises the proper way to go, and the Lord directs his (or her) steps so that His bounteous blessings can flow! Proverbs 16:12 says, “It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness!” Now you can see why Almighty God is so upset with our government’s total lack of decency and uprightness! You can’t be in league with Satan and God at the same time, just as its senseless to chase after every last nickel and dime! The rich never do take even a moment to consider just what is right, and that makes me wonder how they manage to sleep at night! Proverbs 16:16 says, “How much better it is to get wisdom than gold…” It is a wise man or woman who understands this scripture and respects it as they grow old!
