The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. -Psalm 9:9-10 Ive loved reading and praying the psalms this week. Truthfully, praying has been hard-- its like a speech bubble forms in front of my face but the words dont string together into sentences...Just another reason were so grateful for your prayers. Satan has been distracting us with annoyances- money, cars breaking down, petty frustrations. He whispers lies to us that well never get ahead, our lives will be too hard, and the lives of our children are ruined by this situation. Were clinging to the truth we know: God loves us most. He knows whats best for us. Tomorrow at 3 Levi has his swallow study to figure out feedings (pray for a solution to the problem).This mama is nervous. It looks like hes having tremors (pray theyd stop). Were feeling more convinced that his vision is poor at best (pray there is some that can be improved with glasses). Pray that we (and our parents) would cling to truth and resist Satans lies. Praise God for sweet Josh who adores his baby brother and hasnt expressed jealousy -- we were at the hospital last week and he said, I dont want to leave him here! :-) Pray that we would enjoy this time together and not miss out on Levis infancy by worrying whats next.
