The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom should I be afraid? When evildoers came against me to devour my flesh, my foes and my enemies stumbled and fell. Though an army deploy against me, my heart is not afraid; though war break out against me, still I am confident. Psalm 27: 1-3 If someone were to ask you, How are things going?, what would your response be? Now we ALL know that life can be very tough at times. In fact, it seems that we have times when everyone and everything is out to get us!!! The more we determine to walk with Jesus and faithfully serve God, the greater the attacks from Satan are, as he tries to discourage us and distract us from our mission. Then there are the unexpected problems that have to be dealt with. As we read in our scripture verses for today, the Psalmist certainly knew about lifes problems and the ongoing attacks from Satan and the evildoers of this world. And like the Psalmist, we must remember that the Lord will light our way, and lead us through the many trials and tribulations of life!!! The Lord will give us the strength that we need in order to be victorious when Satan declares war on us!!! As the Bible says, God is the source of our strength, so we should NEVER fear!!! Friends, the wonderful truth is, though armies of evil may line up against us, intending to destroy us, we have no reason to be afraid!!! We can, and must be confident in God!!!
