The Lord is near the brokenhearted; He saves those crushed in spirit. Psalm 34: 18 Sometimes our hopes are dashed, our dreams are unfulfilled, and our lives are filled with many disappointments. There are times in ALL of our lives that are filled with pain, sadness, sorrow, and uncertainties. There are unexpected illnesses and experiences that we ALL have to face that leave us discouraged and perhaps even depressed. You know, as good as life is some of the time, there are times that it can be bad......As we go through these periods in our lives, we must remember that WE ARE NOT ALONE!!! Our scripture verse for today tells us that God is close to us as we suffer with our broken hearts. God is ministering to us when we are emotionally distraught and so burdened with feelings of failure.....How wonderful to know that God is with us every step of the way as we journey through life!!! How comforting to know that He is ALWAYS near us, and ALWAYS watching over us, to HEAL our hurts, GUIDE OUR PATHS, and even PICK US UP WHEN WE FALL!!! --- Let us never forget, GOD IS NEAR, and HE WILL SAVE US!!!
