The Lord works in mysterious ways. I had applied at a job that I had been really hoping to land, and through assertively seeking the opportunity for an interview I got one. After a long process of a few weeks, today I got a call and was told that I was a perfect candidate for the position, but i was not going to be offered the job specifically because I couldnt work the requested hours. I was super bummed, but had made peace with whatever The Lord had for me before i even applied. Today while I was taking my roommate to a job interview, I decided to visit Best Buy right down the street to just browse and look around while I waited for him to finish. As I was leaving I got pulled into the office of the Sales Manager of the store. (Thinking I did something wrong.) Well 30 minutes earlier, I was approached by a customer who had mistaken me for an employee (I think because I was dressed up). They needed help with making some decisions on buying merchandise and I had nothing better to do so I gladly assisted. After spending time informing the person about the products and various prices, I was able to sell the customer around $250-$300 worth of computer/electronic merchandise. The Sales Manager said he was watching me and was impressed with how i handled the situation, what i knew about the products and how much i was able to sell in such a short amount of time. He wanted to offer me a job at the store contingent upon me completing an application and passing the required assessments. So I applied tonight and I am hoping everything will go through. Please be in prayer that this is something that will work out! When The Lord shuts a door, That means he has opened another one (if not many) for you to potentially explore. Its amazing how He works. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
