The Losing My Voice:Finding the Way Back to Words event was a big success. I feel so blessed! What a great b day present!!!!! I hope a lot of healing and creativity will come from it. A poet told Nick that she read something she will never read again because it is too traumatic for her. But think about it: do you die in a poof of smoke when you crack open your self? Do you explode or melt? HELL NO. You stand taller because your spirit has grown. Your chin lifts to the sky because there is so much heart in your chest there is no room for sag. Write, read, sing, play that instrument. You will not perish. When it does come time for your soul to fly, your community will say hot damn. That person LIVED without FEAR.
