The Love that evades us There is that Love that evades us, when we try to Love with the loves of life and not the L ove that He Loves us with in Life that is Himself. We are all too forgetful, when we think in the natural ways; the carnal ways of thinking always at the level of touching and feeling; and not in the supernatural Way that is IN Jesus through the Holy Spirit. We are forgetful souls that cannot seem to remember things after perhaps less than fifteen seconds of “feeling high” and “on top of the world”, and, then suddenly, the “pits”. We cannot think as GOD things; the Mind of Christ is not the mind that we have in the natural ways we wander, when we forget His Presence. O how the flesh deceives us so easily; our forgetfulness allows that Love to “evade” us; not that it evades us; but that we are the instruments of its “evasion of being” known fully in the Presence of the Perfect Love that is God alone in the person of the Son. The Holy Spirit is easily grieved; and we get in the Way of Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life! Tragic are the lives that we live outside that perfection that is Jesus. How easily we Live, when we Live the Life that is Jesus within to the intimacy that is Love made perfect; the Love that does not evade us; but the Love that fills us entirely; making us One with the One God who is alone our Perfect Love. I am sitting in a cooling evening in Montana; and it has been in the 80’s today; humidity has been a bit higher; now it is cooling down and the overhead fan is on medium and I feel it on me a little better here as we write together, Beloved Lord Jesus. We are not alone; but, we sense you are never far away as before; for Perfect Love does cast out all fear; for there is no fear in Love; we do best it seems when we stay away from those who cannot Love; you know the fault finders and the name callers; the false accusers that relish making themselves look good, when making little souls look bad in front of others; you know, those who prefer lies over truth. It does not matter if these loves evade us; for they are no “loves” that speak ill of those who desire perfect Love. Such “loves” are best left unrequited; as we flee to our Perfect Lover that casts out all fear; for there is no fear in our First Love. Do we desire real Love? Then, Love GOD first; and receive Him fully; the lesser “loves”, as we fall into the arms and hear the beating heart of His Sacred and loving Heart. Abba Anthony
