The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship kicked off over the weekend at the infamous Glenn Helen Raceway and what a day it was! The performances of Yamaha riders Jeremy Martin, Cooper Webb and Josh Grant were incredible. YZ250F pilots Martin and Webb went 1-1 and 2-2 in the 250 Class respectively for a Yamaha 1-2 on the overall podium. In the 450 Class YZ450F pilot, Grant, grabbed the holeshot and raced away with a Moto 1 win. Unfortunately a crash early in moto 2 left Grant with 15th place at the chequers and relegated him to 5th overall. Meanwhile in the land Downunder CDR Yamahas Billy Mackenzie made a triumphant return to the podium after claiming the overall in the MX1 Class at Round 5 of the Monster Energy MX Nationals! Serco Yamahas Jay Wilson claimed a credible 4th overall in the MX2 division, with his teammate Luke Clout retaining the MX2 championships red plate.
