The Luck of A Second Chance (Blog Post for 10/17/2014) I’m not going to lie- going out and talking to these randomized students is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. On one end of it, yes, being outgoing and an extravert has been made so easy since getting here. Everybody is family- simple as that. But on the other, going up to random students? Proclaiming your faith? Its nerve wracking! Yet its exactly what we are called to do- even with the possibility of being rejected time and time again. I think its also hard to find the line for me. Back at home it is so hard for me to talk to people about my faith without them thinking I’m shoving it down their throat. I don’t want people to choose the gospel because I’m compelling them, or they feel forced. I want them to want what it is that I have. This love! This happiness! And this healing!
